The Reason My Students Won't Get Their Papers Back Tomorrow
CP and Melinda June belong in different neighborhoods. I was jealous of them, but now I feel cool. Even though when I did live in The City, I lived in Queens. But these quiz writers clearly sensed that it was a bad fit.

You Belong in the East Village

A little bit arty, a little bit punk - you seem to set trends that many people follow.
It's likely that you're an academic of sorts, even if it's just on the weekends.
Where Should Your Inner New Yorker Live?

Comments:
is it sad that i took the test 3 times because i didn't like my answer? all 3 times it came out the same too.
guess i should move out to brooklyn then. seeya.

It said I am "Upper West Side." Is that good? Bad?

It said that I'm Soho. I like Soho. But I don't think I can afford to live there. Wonderturtle, can I just sleep on your sofa in the East Village?

JAG: Well, in the East Village nowadays that couch would probably be considered a second bedroom and would run you about $1000. So, sure!

Grant: We don't judge here. That's what you uptown people do.

HB: Yes.

Laughing at your comments. I ended up in Brooklyn which ain't so bad. Coaster Punchman would probably show me around if I offered him help with Mama Gin.

Dale, you can even take Mama Gin back to Toronto with you. She'd be a great souvenir.

Wonderturtle, I figured you for an East Village sort, though of the old variety and not the yuppiedom it has become lately.

Thanks guys. Guess we can meet in my Indian restaurants then rock out at your open mic nights?
