  Overheard At School
Walking to my classroom in the morning:

One student, to another: You would make, like, a good dictator.

And covering a class for another teacher, as students answered questions out of the book:

Student 1: Did you get #3 yet?
Student 2: No.
Student 1: Why not? You have, like, a 99 in AP Euro.
Student 2: So? That's like apples and oranges.
Student 1: Uh, I think it's more like bananas and plantains.

The stuff kids say never fails to make my day.....
 
Love the kids. That's why we do this, right?
