  My Mental Break
It probably started with Back to School Night and compounded from there.

I tried to chalk it up to hormones or my busy schedule or the fact that we've all been getting shit on at work. Anthemsled and I were talking about the next month and where we had to be on all the successive weekends and I just saw the calendar stretching out endlessly with obligations to other people.

The fact that I know my problems are lucky problems to have and the fact that I couldn't control my emotions from spilling over the surface just seemed to fuel the fire.

So I bailed on everything. Coaster Punchman and Poor George, Dale, I'm so sorry.

Everyone I was supposed to call, please know I lost my phone, which on a weekend like this was a blessing.

Hapabukbuk and Anthemsled, I do not know what I would do without you.

Comments:
No problem - feel better soon. I am familiar with the feeling to stay home and nest when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Dale will be down again, and although the restaurant was pretty good it's nothing I'm dying to return to. (I don't know why the fried hominy had gotten such rave reviews....)

"And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see, the biggest gift would be from me
and the card attached would say,
Thank you for being a friend"

Sorry you couldn't make it on Saturday but I'm glad your friends caught you! :-)

Friends are good, huh?

Don't overextend yourself sweetie; it just makes you crazy.

CP & Dale: Thank you for your understanding; I am still digging my way out a bit.

Lu: Thanks babe; I miss you.

HB: Since I'm obviously Dorothy, does that make you Rose? (Or Blanche, you slutcake?)

hello-ah. have we met? i'm so obviously sofia. "may the bags under your eyes grow so big your head falls in 'em!"
