  Dear Everyone,
Don't put music on your website. It's annoying. It does absolutely nothing for me except create an immediate antipathy toward you and whatever you are selling.

Totally agree! The jarring effect of going to somebody's site and having it burst into music, egads, no thanks. I hate mashing the mute button and then desperately trying to figure out how to stop the aural assault. The worst offenders are Myspace profiles, although MyWedding.com also obnoxious.
